Gidday out there in cyberspace,

I have a couple of questions about searching for articles on the forum. Not that long ago it was easy to search for article by username or subject on the forum but I am no longer able to do that.

Has the search function been removed or modified in some way? Or am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

I'm not aware of anything changing as such, you can either use the Search that's built into the forum (link in the header of the forum) or else the full site search, that looks across everything on the site and forum together (here http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/search.htm).

Gidday Rick,

I recall it was easy to find posts by any forum member by clicking on their username. It would then throw up a screen showing details of their posts - it was then a simple case of clicking on the relevent subject and you would be taken directly to it.

I found it very usefull in that regard.

Yes that had to be taken out as it was causing a few issues, it's still possible to search by username via the forum search above though.
