These are some of the other cars that lived with my recent purchase the Renault4Cv.

Alaine the owner of the vehicles is a great guy who from a young boy helped his father restore old cars they would find in the local area.

He had taken part in a rally in black car the last photo recently..

Believe it or not all of the cars ran except one.

Which one.?

Let us have a competition.

Try and name the cars and which one did not run.

I will give the answers after a short while.

The winner will receive £100.00 .

To be spent in an obscure little village in the remotest part of France at an Autojumble where you have to buy your purchases from the vendors in a native tongue of the area called "Occitan".

Good Luck

G.F.

My guess for the non-runner is Citroen B14.

Elsewhere I spy Renault Juvaquatre, Light 15 (Traction Avant), Pug 203, Topolino, I'm guessing Citroen of some kind or maybe Fiat 501 for the half-built sporty number. As for the red car, Fiat Balilla maybe? More research needed, but it's time for breakfast soon Smile

That's definitely the non-runner - it can only manage to walk Laughing

I was getting some items ready for a trip over to the Dordogne later in the week and came across my bit of paper with the names of the cars on.

So here goes.....

Photo 1...Juva 4 1939.
Photo 2....Citroen B14 Caddy 1926.
Photo 3....Citroen B14 G 1928
Photo4......Fiat Balilla 508S 1936
Photo 5.....Simca 5 Rougevin.

I am meeting up with my friend Alain and he is taking us to see other vehicles his friends have stored in barns etc or which fellow club members own.
Should be an interesting bygones trip.
There is interesting stuff stored away in barns all over the place, it is just getting into them that you have to work on.
