CLASSIC CARAVANS DISPLAY

STAPLEFORD PARK, NEAR MELTON MOWBRAY, LEICESTERSHIRE.

Friday 22nd August to Monday 25th August 2014.

We have again been invited to attend the Stapleford Railway Open Weekend and be part of one of the largest meetings of classic caravans in the UK.

There will plenty to do for all the family for the whole weekend: there will be a varied selection of classic vehicles on display, working steam engines, fairground rides, miniature railway rides and trading stalls, a bar with entertainment is open each evening.

The whole weekend is FREE and dogs are welcome.

The camping areas have toilet facilities, fresh water supplied and waste disposal points. There is NO ELECTRIC, so make sure that your leisure battery is fully charged before setting off to the rally and make sure that you have sufficient gas to last you the weekend.

A few years back, the world record attempt for the biggest classic caravan rally (most number of classic caravans slept in) was held at Stapleford, so we have room for everyone!

Just to make it totally clear about timings for this event. You can arrive on the Friday and before 10.00 on the Saturday but there can be no vehicle movement within the display area when the attraction is open to visitors from 10.00 – 17.30 Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We would like all caravans to be on site by 10.00am on the Saturday, and not be moved until 16.30 on the Monday (Bank Holiday). Cars can be moved from the display area after 17.00 each day but if you want to leave the event site during the day you can leave your car in the exhibitors car park and bring it back to the display area in the evening.
