Really fed up in work this week, Got a weeks holiday booked in August (off to Hampshire)and 2 weeks in October (Egypt) so a long time to go yet!.
Decided yesturday afternoon (after looking at the weather forecast) to book a days leave. Wifey couldnt get the day off, son was in school and daughter was in school mid morning, so, up early dropped wifey in work, back for daughter and we had a leasurley breakfast in a local cafe.
Went home, got the Singer out of the garage and headed off to pick my old Dad up.
Following the fitting of the new distributor, the car seemed to be running superbly well, so off we set. We had a rough route planned, to include lots of country B roads, some fast A roads and a total avoidance of motorways and bypasses.
120 mile later, we arrived home and I am pleased to report that the post distributor fitting performance is absolutely spot on, the car is a complete joy to drive and covers the ground really well, including up the horse-shoe pass (Llangollen) which is a fair old pull for any vehicle.

I always take a camera and try to find attractive locations to enhance with my car. I know, it's sad......
