Perhaps time mellows opinions, but when these were introduced I considered them to be just about the ugliest cars in production!
I still do not like them!
A "classic" eyesore?

erm...I think as classics go that one is a lovely example!
cheap to buy, straightforward to maintain and a great 1st classic for any newcomer.

I had a '68. Bought at auction for £150 in 1990. Flew through mot but only fired on 3 cylinders. Sold it for £250.

I hate some old cars especially open top cars, with sticky out front wings, tiny doors, indicators perched on top of the front bumper and the colour blue. Very Happy

Humber Sceptre MK 1 1964 Owner. Very Happy

We have owned it for about 4 years as part of our fleet, it is one of those cars you just get into and drive as far as you like.
