Down here in Oz I recently noticed a tin sign for sale on eBay.
The interesting thing about it was.. it depicted a 1956 brochure of an Australian caravan/trailer company featuring a photo of the 1938 Coventry Steel 'Phantom Knight' caravan on the brochure.
Why they used that particular caravan on an Australian brochure I can't imagine
What I would like to know is, does anybody know if there are any 'Phantom Knight' caravans still in existence or have they all rusted away
Anyway.... if you would like to buy the tin sign or just have a look at it CLICK HERE

Just thought I'd post a photo of the tin sign and ask again, does anybody know if any of these particular Phantom Knights survive.
I take it not many would have been made during 1938, and before the War interfered.
A very rare caravan I would think.

Thanks Dalek63 and moggy
Shame not one has survived. I read that he made the first ones of steel but quickly realised they were too heavy and then used aluminium, surely there must be one hiding in a shed or paddock somewhere... I reckon you HCC or P&CCC members should try harder to find it
