Hello All
I'm new to this forum, usually over on model specific and modern classics.

I'm due to get married in August and the bride has said that my Volvo or the Sunbeam in the garage aren't big or old enough.
I'm not looking for a Rolls Royce and besides there seems something a little soulless about a working car. I just want to give some one the chance to show off their pride and joy.

The bride has a real love for pre war morrises (a family history) but we are not fussy. Just something with 4 doors for the bride and Father-in-law to ride in.
*EDIT this does sound fussy. any car would be great*
I'm not looking for a freebie. I will happily meet any costs etc and can offer a shoot with our photographer on the day as well as a free tour in round London in a classic Mini (smallcarBIGCITY.com)

the wedding is in Titchfield (near Fareham) on August 9th.

Please let me know if you may be able to make our special day that little bit more special.
Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

It would be worth contacting the South Hants Vehicle Preservation Society, aka SHVPS, they will be at Southwick D Day celebrations this weekend:

Cheers Steve

HI Steve

I did try to find them at Southwick but the tun out was very small. Also spoke to the secretary who said i could put a post in the newsletter but that was a monthly publication and times a little short to risk the wait.

Is there any one out there prepared to help out?

Loads of people with Jaguars, from Mk2's through to the big old Mk VII VIII and IX which would be highly suitable for such an event. And I know of plenty not far from you in the Winchester/Eastleigh area too. PM me if that's the kind of thing you are interested in and I'll put you in touch.
