This is a cracking show. A 30 mile run in the morning followed by a static show at the School Fete in the afternoon and totally free.
The following a few cars that interested me:
One for Richard H if he breaks down?
A nice collection of Rootes cars but I do prefer the Mk I front on a Sceptre.
If I have them the right way round this should be a Calthorpe followed by a Swift.
One for Rick as likes these.
This was a rare one, a Facel Vega. When I asked the owner what it was like to drive he replied 'frightening'. He said it was hopeless in the handling department. This was a manual plus overdrive version and he has an automatic one at home as well.
A nice Ginetta, Imp powered.
A bit of muscle.
There were two of these both the same colour scheme.
A really nice little MG.
I would really like one of these.
All in all a very good day out. _________________ Keep Torqueing,
