I am trying to locate a set of new, old stock front brake pads to suit my '65 singer vogue mk3. (I want period friction material)
Does any1 have any reference books that give the part number?

Been searching for some NOS pads with no luck. Had to sort out a box that has been hanging about in the garage for a while and guess what..
A small box, wrapped in masking tape that the widow of the seller must have given me at some point containing a brand new set of NOS Ferodo pads..doh!
So, many thanks for the help but I am now sorted

How are folks without a stock of NOS brake pads/shoes getting on these days? Are there any modern materials that actually work?
Over 20 years ago, before I knew better, I put some asbestos-free Ferodo pads on my Triumph 2000 and scared myself half to death. I couldn't change them soon enough! |

Main reason for the search, modern materials dont seem to cut it for me..they do produce lots of dust though

I have greenstuff pads on my green mini too and found them much better than any others I had!!
They do wear quicker though being softer but thats a plus for me, better they wear out rather than the discs!! |
