Can anyone help with this request for info?

I'm hoping you can help me or point me in the right direction.

I'm trying to obtain an interior picture of the DTV Magnum that was driven at the 1000 Lakes rally by Pentti Airikkala.

I'm trying to ascertain the type of seat that was used in that period race era.

Any help or advise would be very helpful no matter how small.

I would suggest you send him over to the Droopsnoot Group forum - he'll have to join the forum to post or read anything, but it's free. Joining the club costs a small pittance and gets access to more of the forum, magazine and other stuff, but the bit of the forum discussing DTV and competition cars is not part of the members-only section.

I've had a quick look down there and couldn't see anything, but there's quite a few members there who are very into the history of the vehicles, with some very big photo collections.

I found this pic, but you can't see the seats. Were they low backed buckets?

I don't know - I never saw anything on the DSG forum asking the question, so I assume he'd either lost interest or found out elsewhere. At the recent 40th anniversary do at the Vauxhall Heritage Centre, I was briefly talking to Chris Coburn, who ran the company (Coburn Improvements) that built the rally Magnums, so he'd know and someone on the forum would know how to contact him to ask, if no-one there knew the answer.
