I leave peanuts outside every evening at dusk for any visiting hedgehog, shrew or badger and by morning the dish is usually empty.
I was late this evening but noticed that the garage door was open a few inches.
When I picked up my peanut bucket in the dark I felt that it was heavier than it should have been.
It was and because of this little fellow :

Had a Black Bear stealing some apples, but it was during the day, so I guess it doesn't qualify..  |
