Our daughters doing her Art A level.
The topic is Fun Fair, so she comes to Dad, " Can you get me a Dodgem?"
So the garage is now filled with a 1974 Reverchon Atlanta and having spent the last 30 years near the sea its putting up quite a fight

Never found the need our Series Land Rovers shift any pesky modern efforts that pass as cars these days out of the way if they dare get too close

There is a Dodgem with a petrol engine that drives round most of the Cheshire Rallies of an evening, when the public's gone home.

Had a Few interesting nights on the Dodgems last season... Say no more, lol

I don’t like to say but I think you might have a fundamental problem with the electrical pick up!

From memory its 110v ac.
The live is the pick up that makes contact with chicken wire on the ceiling, the Dodgem base has a wire wheel type pick up that makes contact with the floor.
If you have one with the motor its quite simple to convert to battery power
