Hi

That is the one!

If my car is still going and I have had time to finish my rack for my bike, I may take the PF, and ride the long distances between the stops. Depends on the weather again!

Cheers

The last couple of years has seen the vehicles set off from the Jolly Thresher around mid-day I think, heading off via 2 or 3 pubs and ending up at the Old No.3, still on the main road, back towards the M56.

Not sure I'll get to it mind!

Hi

Thanks for the pics, no PF's though, or was there? Slightly jealous I couldn't go, but then again, I would have probably prolonged the flu, which touch wood is starting to lift!

Did you manage to hear that tremendous tank transporter or what ever it is? That roared down past us last year!

Was "Little Audrey" Davey and Paxman Engine there?

Cheers

Dave

Great photos Penman Smile looks like an excellent turnout, the A40 pickup looks nice, as does the Morrie 8 tourer (perfect for a bright chilly day!)

Hi Dave
No PFs, didn't actually see any form of bicycle actually other than moderns.
Looking back through the shots I think there was another engine possibly a "dark reddish colour", can't understand why I don't have a shot of it.

Didn't see the driver of the Morris, but the chap driving the MG VA, down at No3, was wearing the flying jacket and helmet required. Laughing
Funnily enough, he wasn't on the run, he came in to see if a friend with an engine was there.

Hey Penman,

What a fantastic cross section of vehicles. I haven't seen an early Vauxhall Victor for probably 40 years! That red one looks absolutely delicious!

It may be time for me to visit the UK again if you are having events like that one !!!

Absolutely cracking set of pictures. What was the Taxi? Looks like a Lanchester, but surely not??
Nice Field Marshall there for Buzzy too!
