Where can I buy a length of metal exterior trim please?

I've painstakingly removed almost all the metal trim on my 1972 Carlight and cleaned it up with no problems, no bending or buckling. Last bit I tackled pretty much crumpled in my hands. V strange.

You'll need a little patience! The trims a worth doing well as they make a big impact on the visual appearance of a Carlight. Most of the older D-section trims are no longer available but the later square section trims (Commander onwards) are available, and my Casetta was converted to a whole set of these by Carlight about 5 years ago.

Carlight is not currently trading out of North Rauceby but Richard on the Catterick number tells me the marque is alive and operations are currently in the process of moving to Scotland where new caravans will be manufactured, along with some retro production and of course restoration. Parts will also be available and a new website is soon to be launched.

Operations are expected to commence sometime in May - you might get hold of some trims before then, otherwise you may have to wait until the new premises are open.
