|
|
I'm an amateur photographer who does travel videos and stills.
In Cuba last month I enjoyed taking pictures of classic cars. Several of those cars will end up in my Cuba video and on website pages.
But I need help to identify them by year, make and model. Let's see if I can post a car:

Looks fantastic, but what is it?

| I think it's slightly modified 1957 Chevrolet. They're very sought after. |

| That's right it's a '57 Chevrolet. To be more precise it's a four door post sedan, probably a series 210 |

I appreciate your identification of the 1957 Chevy, my favorite car picture from Cuba.
Had this still enlarged to decorate my house. Now I know what it is for guests, also a caption in the video and stills page.
Other posts will follow with the same question for different classic cars. But I will keep the numbers down to something reasonable; only the best.

Still at Revolution Square, the tourist picture, which must be paid for, mandates a convertible.

But I suspect it started life as a hardtop.
My guess is something from the 1950s, perhaps a Ford.
As usual I'm really clueless. What is it? |

Yes it's a Ford. A 1956 Fairlane 500 and probably an original convertible.

Thanks 47 Jag,
At least I got it right as a Ford.
In downtown Havana there is a parking area reserved for classic cars. In this row I could only photograph something not blocked.
Came up with:

Clueless about what this is. |

My guess would be a 1950 Oldsmobile.

I never expected these identifications to be easy. But I appreciate all help that avoids me listing them without any designation.
Fact is that everywhere I went in Cuba there were classic cars, such as this one:

What is it?. |

1950 Ford would my guess. Although it could also be a 1949.
