Anything for a Ford Model A including the holy grail, a flathead V8 engine, mine has the American 4 cyl. There is not a lot wrong with mine but if i can aquire a few odds and sods you never know what you might need.

Why would you want to make your car into a hot rod? A well tuned proper A engine has ample energy. My 1928 Tudor had its original engine, bored to + .030 oversize, and a skim off the head to true it. As such it ran beautifully, could sit on 60 mph steadily all day, and was electronically timed at 72.6 mph during a replica Le Mans race just after restoration was completed. I did about 200,000 miles in it between 1966 and 1990, most of those miles after restoration in 1972. In 1975 drove to Perth and back, a round trip of about 5,500 miles and 1976 to Cairns and back a like distance- both trips with a camping trailer behind.

Not really trying to turn it into a hotrod, a while back and i would`ve, it`s just that i like V8`s and ideally i would`ve liked a V8 model. It`s just a thought, if one comes my way, meanwhile i`ll carry on getting it up to scratch
