Hi.
I have just rescued a Jaguar Mk1 believed 1955 from a breakers yard here in france. Its a lhd model, originallty french. Problem is I have no paperwork, just a small chassis plate in the engine bay. As the car is hard, maybe impossible to register in france, (when its sent for scrap the log book goes as well) I was wondering if ,as a uk built car, there is a possibility of 'registering' it in the uk as there may be records of its number. It is probably better used for a body swap or a track car as its very solid, original, never welded, but missing so much gear.
Any advise will be welcome, I dont really know what to do with the car, but would like to see it kept together.

Hi.
Thanks guys, Ill give it a try this week. I covered the car up thoroughly, and forgot to get the number in the engine bay, so Ill wait for a dry windless day to uncover it! _________________ http://www.centralfrancestorage.com/index.html |
