The following photo arrived down the wire recently, the sender believes it to be a Humber, maybe a Snipe. It looks quite Humber-like, did they all have the fake pram irons though?
The gent is the sender's great uncle - his uniform looks interesting, apparently he has a Lance Corporal's stripe, and cap badge etc, and was believed to have been a chauffeur at some point in time.
All info welcomed

The louvers on the side of the engine compartment may suggest 1933, later models have panels. On images I found, the rear side panels can be solid (with pram irons) or glass.

I wondered if the detail we see to the left of the man's hand might suggest a Lanchester?

An interesting movable spot light outside the driver's door and is that a pennant holder on the front of the bonnet ?
Images I found seem to show that Lanchester had a spare wheel clamp in the twelve o'clock position where as when they appear on a Humber they are more at one o'clock.

| Judging by the bonnet louvres and the hubcaps I would agree its a 1932/33 Humber 16/50. |
