My wife told me that one of our nieces had started a new food business but could not remember where it was located. So I googled her and to my surprise discovered her latest acquisition - a 1915 Model T Ford ambulance.

I can't wait to be taken for a spin in it.

That is a beautiful machine! Pity it has no side lamps- they should have the brass bezels like the headlamps. The brass bezels were only used for 1915. It has obviously been treated to demountable rims which it would not have had ex factory.

I am sure that the MTFCA would like to see the photo. I would like to post it on their Forum page unless you have objections. I'd like to know a little more of the vehicle's history, was it originally an ambulance? If so where did it serve?

Particularly of interest in Australia as this month we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings on our special ANZAC Day, 25th of April.

The ambulance will be on display tomorrow for any members living on the south coast in the town centre in Emsworth from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

I have got to admit, this is an interesting initiative in food distribution. I understand that some people have allergies to even the most basic of foods, but this 'one stop process' is brave; food delivery, consumption, then non-stop to Hospital. Smooth......................
