I'm almost at the end of my restoration project, a classic Range Rover and i'm just in the process of going round the interior giving it a proper clean.
Two things i'm looking for help with are what would be best to clean the vinyl on the door cards and what solvent would you use to remove a sticky back item that's been put on the dash |

For the vinyl, I swear by Stardrops, its available from all supermarkets, works well and is very gentle. I used it on the Singer after its lay-up and to be fair it brought everything up lovely, smells fresh too.
On the dash, i would use a hair dryer to apply some low heat and soften the sticky backed item, remove it then either use the stardrops again or clean it with WD40 first. that tends to make the dash shine tho which I dont like.

| I would second that suggestion of Stardrops for cleaning and when it's dry I found that Autoglym rubber and vinyl cleaner brought it back to life. |

For the sticky goo you could try a citrus-based cleaner. I've found them pretty effective for such tasks.
