I took an old friend out for lunch today, and before leaving he gave me a carrier bag to put in the car. "Open it later" he said. So I am back home and rather speechless. Underneath you'll see but a part of what was in the bag which also included new wall-size servicing sheets, three of the 2.4 tuning manuals, three green ring binder servicing manuals from the Mk V onwards and so on. Everything, including the brochures, is in almost as-new condition. I am deeply touched.

That's one hell of a gift, it wouldn't surprise me to find they're extremely valuable. You're lucky to have such friends. |
