The temperature gauge in the Bedford CA doesn't work, mainly because it doesn't have a temperature sender! there is a blanking plug where the sender should be that looks as if been there since the van was new ! (perhaps it was an option ?) finding the right sender is proving difficult, as Bedford seemed to have fitted different gauges that have different sender units so I thought I'd fit an accessory gauge until I get the correct sender.

Came across this new set of 3 in Ebay that had the correct period look:



The price for all 3 including shipping is £16.33

They are made in India, arrived to day, I have been able to test the ammeter and the temp gauge , both are accurate the temperature and oil gauge are the mechanical sort, and the temperature gauge comes with a couple of different adaptors, one of which fitted the CA, they even come with the bulbs for illumination.

If they last, quite a bargain, you can find them by searching for "Tractor Gauges"
