Is that name used on cars now. Havent seen one badged for ages. Then again maybe I haven't noticed.

I've been having a look around the 'net and the most recent "deluxe" car, as far as I have seen, was a Trabant 601 Deluxe last produced in 1991.

Other than that, the Hillman/Chrysler Avenger in this country?

It must have become devalued through over-use. Another one, that seems to be dying out now, was the phrase "executive travel" across the back of scabby old coaches belching black smoke everywhere and full of horrible schoolkids... Laughing

Yes, the word "excecutive" became synonymous with the lowest of supervisory ranks with connotations of "jumped up" and fake worth.
