Hi all, just need a bit of advice.

I am going to look at a potential purchase of a Series 1 Morris 8 at the end of the week and need advice. The car I am looking at has been described as a 2 door fixed head, I presume this describes a car with no sun roof. The photos of the inside of the car show no opening but photos of the roof outside show a vinyl sun roof cover, is this correct, is this just decorative or has the sunroof been sealed up?

Saloons of that era generally did not have 'solid' tin roofs. The centre part featured the type of vinyl cloth covering you describe, as shown below.
