The gentleman behind this enterprise is

Note to Editors: none of the foregoing may be interpreted as defamatory. I am fully aware, and in complete respect of, English Law with regard to Defamation. Remember, it ain't Defamation if it's True!
I recognise that much of this is tangential to 'classic cars', but occasionally interesting matters touch upon our hobby (and you did ask, Peter!) |

As with the other similar thread, the many claims and details of this gent's business activities have had to be removed.
They may well be true, and I'm sure you've done your research, but as the named gent cannot put his side of the story here, and I cannot spend the time researching all this myself to ensure its accuracy, the comments have had to be removed. Discuss via PM if necessary, but not on this public forum.
No more please.

Yup, suitably chastened!
Sorry Rick, just replying to "tell all" as it were. It's an involved subject, but I respect that it may not be appropriate to post here. |

Hi Peter.
It does actually, any website exercising editorial control which then allows users to discuss proscribed matters via a subset of its services (such as a PM system) also falls into the purloin of the same aspect which has required, or may require, editorial control.
I wouldn't therefore use any subset of the site to discuss the matter, whether it is publicly viewable or not. Like I said, suitably chastened, suitably respectful!
If you PM me your email address or telephone number I'll gladly send you the material, but only off-site. By the way, I have no axe to grind on these subjects, it was an odd coincidence that they came up at all and I happened to be in possession of the materials. |

7777 you are wrong ...I don't know who you are and frankly don't care, but neither UK or US law is written or interpreted in this direct way........however if you ever have anything remotely interesting to post about old cars, we would love to hear about it
