Much has been made and reported about the recent Bonham Auction of the two millionth Land Rover Defender with it's unique upholstery depicting Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey where the Wilkes brothers conceived the idea of the first Land Rover.

But £400,000 Admittedly the sale price was distributed between the two charities that Land Rover supports.

The vehicle has been sold to an unknown overseas bidder but is the world going mad?

It's a Defender 90 and not even the last one.

If the figure quoted in your posting is correct, then you need another 0 and another . in the heading.

Quite correct Penman, error corrected.
