This query arrived via email today, can anyone help with info?

Hello, I came across your website while trying to do a little research for my father. He used to work in the motorcar / commercial vehicle parts sector in Belfast (from 1950s to 1995), he is very much into his vintage commercial vehicles (of which he has an amazing collection of information on) he also has a big love for vintage buses. However, he still maintains an interest in the car side also. Therefore, I'll get to my question, are you aware of any car dealerships in Northern Ireland, especially Belfast, who sold Lea-Francis motors? _________________ Rick - Admin

I doubt if Lea Francis had much of a dealership network;more likely a potential buyer would contact their favoured local garage, and he would negotiate direct with Lea Francis. |

I believe the Sole Distributor for London and the Home Counties was Charles Follett Ltd. 18 Berkeley Street W1.
I'm afraid I don't know who the other dealerships were. |
