Not quite sure what the point of the exercise in the clip was, publicity?

However if F1 cars did race in the snow it might relive the sport of the tedious spectical it has become....

Amazing how F1 delivers the 'Marmite' touch, love it or hate it.
F1 certainly has developed over the past 30 odd years, considerably less deaths and accidents, but also providing the critical development grounds for modern cars and the future. The all electric series is pushing battery development on, and the Hybrid F1 cars have shown how effective harvesting energy can be, that has been translated into the cars we can buy today.
Whenever you watch a motorsport event, spectators always gather at the points where accidents are most likely to happen, and consider an incident free race not as exciting, the highlights on TV usually focus on the accidents for all sports, motor or not.
Gory lot aren't we?

I quite like the electric series but they need to get some strips of card taped to the back suspension and into the rear wheels to generate some noise, in a similar manner to how we did as children on bikes Very Happy
