I've been getting on with the Lanchester now I'm on six weeks holiday I have removed the rad for repair and the water pump for overhaul. Now while I have been stripping out the front it became clear early on that the front engine mount must have sagged, the front pulley was very close to the cross member and I had to jack up the engine to remove the fan belt, now it's apart and I can see the mount it is clearly weak and indeed the mount is resting on the fail safe pegs.
So one cannot buy these parts so I am thinking in terms of having to get this one re- rubbered. Does anyone know of a company or companies that do this.
Thanks in advance |

There is a fairly active owners forum for Daimlers and Lanchesters. You are probably not the first one to have this problem. Maybe they even have new old stock - I know they have a large spares department.
