Nice selection of cars on show. With a reasonable mix of ages of vehicle. Some customised classics as well as an interesting array of very convincing replicas. Not really to my taste, but you have to admire the amount of hard work and craftsmanship that goes into many of them.
A particular favourite was the late Volvo 444 below, very nicely turned out and apparently largely original apart from some local paintwork, with a B16B twin carb engine and a nice two tone interior. A nicer dash than the 544, I always think.

The last photo was the Traction Owners Club stand the organisation of which I was responsible for. My own car is in the foreground. It is the second year that I have done this, and it is an interesting and largely enjoyable experience, although I must pay tribute to my team of willing helpers who all help to make it happen.

Quite a variety of vehicles there (I like the Commer pickup), thanks for taking the time to post the photos Smile

Many lovely cars, all except the Model T which is an unfortunate mish-mash of parts from various periods. Gas headlamps ceased to be fitted in 1914 for one glaring example. Pity really as the car looks well presented generally.

The red Amazon looks superb. The yellow Saab 95 just visible in photo #1 lives around the corner from my folks, a regular sight at local meets. The bullnose 96 is nice also.

A sad sight outside the Manchester show on the Sunday afternoon, just as everyone was packing up, was a Cortina, which appeared to have rolled forwards off its trailer and was tilted at a strange angle. Its owner didn't appear to have bothered to lash it down, and was trying to jack it up presumably hoping to push it back into place.
A sobering moment, since I am proposing to trailer my Citroen down to a specialist in London at the month end, for a gearbox upgrade.
