as in.... have you come across photos that just by chance happens to show a vehicle you once owned or presently own but you didn't when the photo was taken.?

I have been featured twice on Google Streets when I lived in Winnipeg. The first time I have to admit to vanity and delayed moving from a Stop sign because I saw the Google car approaching, the other was pure chance at a traffic light.

If I Google my '63 Riley's registration number a few photos appear, a couple from before I owned it.

It's quite useful as last year, when I had a breakdown I couldn't fix at the roadside and called my recovery service, the driver told me his office had Googled 'Riley 1.5' and then e-mailed him a photo of the actual car he had been called out to.

I found photos of a Morris I once owned, when I searched online for its reg. It was interesting to compare how it looked several years earlier, to when I had it.

Oddly enough, when I was going through random photos that I'd taken approx ten years earlier, I stumbled across photos I'd taken of the same car while still with a previous owner, in Shropshire. I'd been to see an A40 Devon van he was thinking of selling, and the Morris was parked outside so I took a couple of snaps while I was there. In the meantime it had passed through a few people's hands, ending up in London where I got it from.
