So, whilst not a motoring classic, rip Rick parfitt, a classic amongst the music business.
I loved the quo back in the day and even more so with their recent acoustic stuff. Seen them live a few time, most recently when they played down the road in Llangollen.

Saw quo at Cardiff castle in the seventies. Hadn't heard Rick had died, Rossi was on tv not long ago talking about the new tour and Rick was unwell or had been. Sad business

Off topic, but talking of people being unwell has anyone heard any news of Brian Matthew? I so miss him on Saturday morning. They had said that he would be back today but he wasn't.

My father was very much into the Quo when I was younger so we sort of grew up hearing the music. We actually saw them perform in Glastonbury Abbey of all places! Sad to hear the news.

He was a neighbour of mine when we lived in Sunningdale, Berks. back in the '80s. He had a recording studio in his house but he wasn't there that often being away touring. Surprisingly private guy considering his fame. Originally from Woking , like me. He started out as an apprentice mechanic at a Woking garage earning just £5 a week.

Poor Francis Rossi must be feeling miserable.

And now George Michael is the latest sign up for the most talented band God has ever put together.
