Not a nice thing to happen. There was a story a little while back in one of the Classic Commercial mags regarding an old Atkinson lorry consumed in a fire right near the end of a lengthy restoration. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Real shame when this happens. I always wonder what causes such fires. I try to understand the circumstances so that I can prevent them by being diligent in my own garage. This seems very odd and a heartbreaker for the owner.  |
