I took some photos at the 2006 Paris Retromobile show but cannot remember what these cars were.

I have put them on the following site

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/kevgould/whatarethesecars.html

Either reply through this site or direct to floride1@ntlworld.com

Thanks

No 1 looks like the work of Pininfarina, only he could have produced such an elegant car before the war. I think it could be a Lancia Astura underneath, probably 1938/9 with that non-standard grille.
No 4; circular radiator? It looks a lot like the 1910 Maudslay in the Coventry Transport Museum.
Nos 2,3; I think you'll get a very accurate reply from someone else in the forum Smile
No 5. Haven't really got a clue! Wild guess - Darracq

I did wonder if #1 might be a Delahaye or similar?? Osenat (on the numberplate) are I think a French auctionhouse, and handle this kind of thing quite regularly (their auctions get reviewed quite often in The Automobile mag)

Yep, 2&3 is a 1951 Studebaker Commander Convertible. Very Happy

I'll have to check on the others later.

Hi

I am not very good at these guess the car things but here goes!

I think number 5 is a Sunbeam of some sort, going off the front and the seating arangement. Maybe a 1904ish? 12hp square 4 engine, max 12bhp at 1200rpm and a top speed of about 30mph.

I have a really good book on this age of stuff!

Cheers

Dave
