Last summer i was driving my '29 model A in the french alpes,i was climbing on a very steep mountainroad when i spotted a Audi a8 with a big caravan attached to it standing in the middle of the road going nowhere.
I pulled over and asked te Audidriver what was wrong.
He told me the clutch has burned and the car would not go enymore.
I told him i could try to tow him up the hill to his campsite,he laughed and said he was surprised that old piece of junk had made it up to here.
I did not respond but connected a rope between our cars and started pulling.
We went up the hill as of there was no Audi with caravan behind the model A.
I delivered him at his campsite and disconnected the rope.
He said"thanks a lot, that went very well but at the end there was smoke coming out the rear wheels of your car"
I looked into the cab............damn!........forgot to release the handbrake.....

Lovely story! As a former A owner, I can really relate to that.
