Any carter carburettor experts out there?
I have a wgd and need some advise. The spring on the vacuum piston is missing. How does this affect running. I tried using one from an assorted box of springs and or seems to run too rich now.
Thanks folks _________________ Volvo Sugga ,Volvo Trygge

I have never had any experience with you particular carb and I can't find much information on it in any of my books. Recently I have been playing with a Carter AFB four barrel and the adjustments on that were so critical. I am only guessing but if that spring tension is wrong it could have a big effect. |
