I am looking for a vintage car for a Film shoot I am doing in Islington, London N5 on 1st June.

I need to find a car that would’ve be around in 1953. The director loves the idea of using a Ford Prefect but any car of that era could work for us

Here is a little bit more information about the project….

We are going to be creating an interactive virtual reality film which will be designed to help people living with Dementia in the UK. This is to trigger memories for those effected by the disease to share stories with their loved ones.

'The Wayback' film will launch with us re-creating a street party from 2nd June 1953 that would've taken place during the Queens coronation.

We will shoot on Thursday 1st June in Islington, London, N5 and dress all our cast in 1950’s wardrobe.

It is a really inspiring and influential project and something that is very close to the Director (Kevin Thomas) and the creatives heart.

The main issue is we have very little money. We are asking all our crew (from Director to runner) to work for free on the shoot.

I have a small offering for the car of £200 to cover any expenses and a contribution to their time. I appreciate this is low and might be a lot to ask people.

At this stage I would need them to be available all day as I don’t have a confirmed shooting schedule. But I am hoping we would only need them for half a day maximum.
