Looked a bit ominous first thing in the morning, but by the time I'd arrived at Glyndyfrdwy the skies had cleared and we had sunny weather virtually all day. I must admit I didn't hang around for very long, taking the train first down to Carrog (the only station I'd never alighted at) and then back up to Llangollen for lunch. Then a walk back to Berwyn along the canal path, with a nice ice cream.
I am told there were a lot more cars on Sunday, some of our club members were there while I was at a more local show.

Very much so, I'd recommend it. They do a number of similar shows, there's a sixties weekend which I think is later this month, and I saw advertisements for a motorcycle show.
As I walked along the canal bank I noticed a lot of activity as they're setting up for the Eisteddfod in Llangollen, so it might be a bit busy around there for a while. |
