I expect I am missing something but without free Photobucket I thought I would try using Postimage. Unfortunately when I click on "choose images" it brings up a menu which includes things like desktop and documents etc but not my photos.

I would like to contribute to the forum but I am just getting confused.

Can someone help please?

P.S. I have a MacBook Pro if that helps.

Hi
I take it you are trying to upload to postimage.

You need to know the address of My Pictures or whatever apple calls it on your hard drive.
For instance on my computer using Windows which has also had data from my old computer transferred to it.
I would have to get: > This PC > Data from old PC > My Documents > My > Pictures > Cars
So Hard disk to start and then there are folders within folders within folders etc.
Once you've done it a few times MS starts to anticipate what you want and I suppose Apple does the same.
The upload page allows you to upload multiple pics by clicking on one then hold shift down and click on the last one you want, this highlights all between.
Then click on the open button (bottom right)

While playing around with my next posting, I have found that the top row of 3 just above choose images has remembered the last few folders from which I have uploaded. You learn new ways of doing things every day.! Very Happy

Hi
Once you have uploaded you will see a page like this.

The red < is my addition showing which icon to click on to get a hotlink for forums for the whole gallery, if you only want to download one of the pictures then select that picture and then look for the same icon alongside HotLinks for forums and proceed as follows:
Come to the posting page on here and right click/paste No need to use the Img button above.

Kind of you to respond Penman but I can only do the very basic stuff. All sounds too complicated to me.

Thanks anyway.

Ray, is your problem uploading from your computer to PostImage, or from PostImage to the forum?

Hi Mike. I think I have sorted it out now. I forgot I needed to scroll down the menu. When I did that the photos heading appeared. Hopefully I should be able to use the site from now on.

unfortunately I have been having trouble with my lap top. It needed a new hard drive and now it has packed up again!
