A few years back I went to look at a VW Samba for someone and as well as looking at this car I was shown another barn which was full of Mk 1 and 2 Zephyrs and Zodiacs. One had a modified head and triple carbs (the name is on the tip of my tongue!) and here ia a photo of the Mk 1 convertible. Others were in various states of undress and one on a rotisserie.

But I digress here. I was shown upstairs in the barn and this is what I saw:

There were over 20 Triumphs from pre-1st world war to the sixties, plus two I wasn't allowed to photograph, a Brough Superior and a Scott Squirrel. Amazing what just turns up; and nothing for sale either. |

Thanks Rick. You've just saved me a sleepless night! It was on a dark blue Mk 2 Zodiac. |

I have re-routed that horrid piece of rubber hose since that pic was taken.
The banjo fitting only needed to be turned over allowing the hose to head downwards after being shortened, cheers,JD. _________________ 1958 Ford Zephyr Mk2 Convertible

Not yet Rick as I haven't had time to think about it - will manage some time.
Everything is getting in the way - spent today shovelling snow off my drive.
Cheers,JD. _________________ 1958 Ford Zephyr Mk2 Convertible
