Hi'
I have been restoring my rear springs and found some numbers/letters stamped on the bottom leaf. does anyone know what they mean. They are 48 1A784 11-C-63. There is also a very trade mark stamp as well. Just curious

Make and model of car might bring forward some responses. Some car manufacturers did stamp their springs and some also bought in springs from specialist makers- they would sometime have identification numbers stamped on to one or more leaves. _________________ Dane- roverdriver but not a Viking. |

They are attached to a 1930's Wolsely hornet rear axle so I am assuming they are wolsely stampings |
