				| A pretty good turn-out at this new venue for the local VSCC NYD meeting, with some cars I don't remember seeing before.

				| Nice photos Mike. Thanks for posting. To which car did the 120 mph speedo belong? The Citroen??

Yes, that was the one. Didn't notice it arrive, it was just parked up later on.

Yes Rootes, the weather was fine though it was raining a bit on the way there. We had ample time to let that go off, as we were behind an Austin Seven and an early MG on the way to the venue.

				| I thought the turnout and variety much better than last year but wondered where you were Rick. Mike you seem to have favoured me with a pic of my Alvis out on the road (would have smiled for camera if I knew) and then a pic of Wilfrid in his scarf on the radiator.
The Citroen belongs to Harry Painter who is lucky enough to not yet be 21 and together with his father races the MG Kayne Special and another P type(?) in VSCC events. He is no mean driver!
He assembled the Citroen from parts of a car dismantled for a great many years and got it up and running last year. He was late because as he quipped he didn't realise he needed to leave Shrewsbury before 7am to get there in time. It is not quick!

				| Cheers. Turns out I'm a bit limited on what I can post there, as they've now introduced a limit on numbers for free accounts. Pity, really, as I was just getting used to it. | |

				| I rarely add photos to Flickr now as I don't have a pro account. I use it more to have a look around really. There is always some interesting things on there and I can keep in touch with a few of my friends with similar interests. _________________
