This is rather remarkable Rick. I had never heard of Forres in my life until three months ago when I was contacted on Facebook by a lady seeking help on an E-type's history. The car came from the same dealership, and we were able to find out some history of the car's original owners by contacting the local paper and them putting a little article in for her. I have written to the owner of the car you mention and explained that the DVLA will no longer help, that the car is not known to the JDC, and advising him to contact the paper as well.

Or it might have gone into spam - I find Outlook and Google have some random ways of deciding what is spam and what is not. It's frustrating, though, when you go to time and effort to help and get no response.

Good point. I was a trifle hasty perhaps.
