Does anyone use an LCD hygrometer to check the atmospheric humidity before they paint?
As I understand it, the maximum relative humidity is supposed to be 50% with a minimum temperature of 55 deg. F /13 deg C. to avoid micro blistering.
(Obviously there are numerous other causes of blistering such as air line moisture).
I am concerned that extended periods of settled warm dry weather are becoming less frequent with conditions either to hot or too cold and frequently too humid for D.I.Y painters.
I thought perhaps I might try using one of the cheap hygrometers currently available to at least give me a fighting chance. |
