So, in a couple weeks its Beaulieu International Autojumble. Back on after its enforced COVID break.

No matter how big or small it is, how many stalls or people turn up, we will be making the 2 hr drive there. Its become very much a thing that My Father and I attend and simply enjoy being part of.

Anyone else planning to get there?

Well, back from Beaulieu already. To be honest it wasnt very good.

Nice to see friends again but so so much average things and so over priced. I know we have had Covid but to be told prices have had to go up cause of it isnt really right to me. Also, too much house clearance and bric a brac stalls getting in there now.

Lovely sunshine, lovelely location but not a single thing found for my Hillman or the Commer truck. Maybe next time eh? Or maybe time to try another bug autojumble?

I wouldn't be surprised about those changes because of the pandemic. Hope everything will be back to normal next season or so.

I'm disappointed to hear that but not too surprised really. We used to go to a lot of the local-ish shows as much as anything for the autojumble and tool stalls but noticed - and I'm going back 10 or 15 years now - that there were more and more of the antiques/house clearance/charity shop rejects stalls, when the mobile phone accessories and even fruit and veg stalls started appearing - stuff we could see for free in any of the local towns on their market days - we stopped going to most of them altogether. Take away the chance of picking up something useful and driving a couple of hours to a muddy field with the only facilities overpriced salmonella stands and the obligatory revolting portaloos just didn't appeal, it still doesn't to be honest... I love a good autojumble but the last few years have put me off to be honest.

Things have just changed so much and now so many just refer to ebay and its prices as a guide etc.
