Sorry for a basic question, but first classic car and whilst I can take a best guess at suitable Jack points on my Riley, I hope someone can give some advice for the best Jack and support points on an Adelphi or on pre-war chassis built cars in general. |

I use a trolley jack under the front axle then support it with axle stands under the spring saddles. At the rear, trolley jack under Diff housing and again Axle stands under the saddles.
For a road side wheel change I have a small bottle jack that I use under the chassis as close to the axle as I can get, taking care never to get under the vehicle unless its supported. |
