I am no longer shocked by the desecration of our motoring heritage. It just saddens me. The problem is, however, that what is considered vandalism to one person is regarded as acceptable to another.
Then there is the whole question about converting petrol classic cars to electric. If done properly, the result can be impressive in terms of performance and reliability and if the overall appearance is maintained then such cars can more easily blend with their ic engined brethren.
I have been following "vintage voltage" where a wide variety of cars have been professionally converted and restored. I find the concept quite intriguing ...although I would not go down that road myself. |
