Just the shape of the thing and all the wires that go into it. It seems to operates quite heavy duty sprockets.
I have not seen one before so just a guess. |

I had electric p.a.s. on a Vauxhall Astra once. It made an irritating whine with every turn of the steering wheel. |

I got the same response from senior management, Ray; I had my purse out but was over-ruled! That price leaves ample funds for 'recommissioning'. _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

I try telling myself that I might have ended up with a lemon like I did with the MG. That was described as running well - and it was - but then I discovered just how easy it is to be deceived; especially if you are wearing rose tinted specs.! |

I agree, Ray, look on it as a lucky escape!
I must admit I was a bit sceptical about the seller's reasons for selling: he rebuilds the car 25 years ago, but hasn't driven it for 16 years because of unfamiliarity with pre-war cars? Sounded to me like there was a problem he couldn't resolve... _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

You simply can't beat a good old Austin Seven. I think you would agree? |

Ray, that's the trouble with the "Management", they always have a very different perspective. _________________ Daimler Fifteen 1934 (now sold)

My other half has been the opposite...that's probably why i've ended up with so many vehicles...
If I see something, first thing she asks is where is it? and can we make a weekend of going away to look at it...?
Trouble is...my purse is always empty these days. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

My other half is quite clear about one thing.
She is always right. |

But it's always your fault. Get used to it.
