There is an even rarer 970S for sale at the moment. A mere £65,000 is being asked.

There is an even rarer 970S for sale at the moment. A mere £65,000 is being asked. The one above was sold as seen, people being invited to view, and they had not tried even to stat the engine. I saw a pre-production Mini from 1959 sold a couple of years back for £18,000 and then it was rebuilt to concours. Over £60,000 for an 848 Mini in the end!

You are kidding!!!

We used to have one as a hack when I was still living at home with my Parents.! I don't know what happened to it but it probably got scrapped when we ran out of sub frames!! Laughing
