It was a coachbuilder job on a pick-up. The man is my father (who wrote the car off whilst crossing the A1). He very nearly wrote himself off at the same time as it was a lorry that he tangled with.

It's certainly not low maintenance. I knew someone with Moggie greenhouse and it actually had little mushrooms growing in the window channels!
None the less I'm one of the sheep that like woodies.

Me too! The one I knew had moss and grass growing out of it.!!
The funny thing about that particular Traveller was that the owner was wealthy! He was a farmer called Dudley Glanfield. In fact, he became famous back in the 1960s as "the battling Farmer".
His battle was first with the electricity Board who wanted to put pilons on his land. Then he had a battle with the Ministry of Transport who wanted to put the M3 through his fields in Valley End, Windlesham, near to where I lived.
